Hi All

thanks for getting this going Grace and for responding Karolee. As I said before, we have made many wonderful friendships over the years and just because WLN as we used to know it is not meeting in the US this year, it does not mean that we cannot maintain our own network of wonderful and powerful women. I have been greatly encouraged by the number of emails and responses I have received. Let’s all keep the network alive.

It appears that each economy is handling their own delegation differently – no standard way and there is a lot of conflicting information as to the SF meetings, so important for us all to keep in touch.

Hi Everyone,

Finally, I think I have this site worked out – thanks, Grace.

It is a real shame that there will be no WLN this year! I have certainly valued my participation in the WLN and the APEC process, and have made some wonderful friends. So, I am all for keeping these connections going. We will just have to wait to see what happens next.

I have been invited, by the Office of Women, to be a self-funded participant at the Trade Show part of this year’s APEC Women and the Economy Summit. Unfortunately, because of the short notice and cost of participating, I will not be able to attend. But, I still want to be a part of the Australian involvement in the WES. Hopefully, we will all still be included in the activities in the lead up to the event and to the discussions following the Summit. Hopefully, next year we will have more time to prepare.

Estoy muy feliz de poder participar una vez mas, en APEC WLN, Los trabajos que se puedan realizar año tras año para fortalecer a las mujeres y especialmente al mundo Indigena es maravilloso, los temas son muy amplios y esperamos desde nuestro pais poder contribuir en materia de genero, economia, y todos los temas que nos convocan.
